Heir of Judgement

I was the narrative designer, co-writer, and sprite artist on Heir of Judgement, a game created for USC's Intermediate Game Design class in the spring of 2019.

Heir of Judgement is a visual novel, puzzle game about working as Death's apprentice by determining the final resting place of deceased souls.

​

The player themselves is a recently deceased soul who is taken under Death's wing to be his successor. They meet a few souls and learn about their greatest transgressions in order to properly judge them and send them to the Light or the Darkness. However, no assessment can be truly just or fair, especially when confronting a soul you may have known in your mortal life.

I worked on this game with Noah Koecher and Connor Rogers.
